The Quann sisters, Cipriana and Takenya, are two identical twins from Baltimore who have dominated the fashion world for the past six years, particularly NYFW. Takenya is an electronic singer/songwriter known as TK Wonder. While Cipriana is the editor in chief and cofounder of the lifestyle website Urban Bush Babes. And collectively, the two fashionistas are also represented by IMG models. With their big beautiful natural hair and trendy matching outfits, it's no wonder they make heads turn when they walk the streets of New York and Paris. And here are just a few of their best head-turning looks!
With all the unfortunate events that are taking place across America and the rest of the world, due to the aftermath of George Floyd's wrongful death. I thought it would be only right that I focus on something more uplifting this Sunday and highlight the black community and their culture in a positive light. Here are some streetwear looks, worn by black women, which we all can draw style inspiration from!
Over the last couple of years, I have really grown to admire Zoë Kravitz's eclectic style. I say this with love, but it's like she doesn't give a damn about how she looks or what she wears, and manages to make it look so good! She just gives off this "cool girl" vibe and can go from looking causal and laid back in the streets, or sexy and chic on the red carpet. One moment she's dressed in 90's vintage pieces with long braids, and the next wearing Saint Laurent with a cute pixie cut. The point is, you never know what you'll get with her, but you know she'll look good and make it look effortless too. That's why I love her style so much and her down-to-earth personality.
I have to be 100% honest! I hated Rosie Huntington-Whiteley when she first started modeling and acting in movies (i.e. Transformers)! But cut to today, and I am completely in love with her and her style. I personally think, when she became a mom, she really transformed into another person. The model/actress turned entrepreneur/designer/influencer has really evolved over the years and has become a huge force in the world of fashion and beauty too. Her wardrobe, featured on her Instagram, alone has become a go-to place for style inspiration, for myself and many others. And now, here is a recap of some of her best minimalist looks that are both effortless and chic, captured straight from her closet!
