Either you love it or you hate it, but I think this trend is hot! It may not be summer time yet but starlets are already wearing sporty resort pieces on the red carpet. This trend started last year but starlets like Lindsay Lohan and Christina Milian are making the trend even more popular in 2012. Michael Kors, McQ, Jason Wu and Derek Lam are a few designers who featured the trend on the runways of their 2012 S/S and Resort collections--and today it has translated well into everyday looks.
