There was no bigger shoe trend than the Isabel Marant sneakers. Even I found myself falling in love with the wedged kicks!
And the hottest heels of the year were definitely the Louboutin ‘Bis Un Bout’ Pumps. They looked great in every color too!
Taking a break from high heels, loafers were very popular and trendy
There were so many popular trends this year and here are my top 3! You can check out my full list here.
Leather shorts, dresses, pants, and tops were all very popular this year. Along with leather skirts paired with button-down denim tops
Another huge trend I liked this year was the little white dress, how can you not love this look!
Here is a look back at the 10 best and most popular trends of 2012
#1. The Little White Dress: This year the LBD took a back seat to the LWD, which dominated the red carpet this year. There wasn't a star who didn't wear one!

#2. The Peplum: Peplum pieces were beyond popular this year. From dresses, to tops, to skirts, peplums were attached to everything and everyone!
#3. Mullet Skirts: Whether you called them mullet skirts, high-low skirts, or asymmetrical skirts they were big in 2012! However, I think the cute trend may die down in 2013.
#4. Floral Prints: This trend will live on for forever and it made its mark in 2012. Floral prints covered everything this year including tops, dresses and even pants!
#5. Leather Pieces: Everybody was wearing leather this year--It's not just for motorcycle jackets anymore! I even found myself buying a pair of leather shorts.
#6. See-Through Gowns: Celebs took sheer to a whole new level this year! Forget showing a little skin, in 2012 ladies were showing off their undergarments and proudly.
#7. Illusion Dresses: We can thank Stella McCartney and Kate Winslet for putting this (silhouette flattering) trend on the map.
#8. Denim Shirts: Love it or hate it, denim shirts were very popular this year. And not just for girls but guys also--but we look better in them!
#9. Crop Tops: What more can I say besides, They're Back!
#10. Printed Suits: And last but not least, there were the printed/graphic suits. Kudos to the girls who were brave enough to wear one!
Apparently Kim Kardashian is pregnant with her first child and I am not surprised at all! Okay, well maybe just a little...The power couple Kim and Kanye shared the news with her family first, around Christmas time, and are now sharing the good news with their fans! And you know the Kardashians, they can't end the year without topping other celebs. Although this has been the biggest year for celebrity engagements babies, and secret weddings! And now you can add KimYe to the list--congratulations to them!
Ps. But I do have to say this...I hope they aren't doing this just to overshadow their famous exes, Amber Rose & Reggie Bush, who are also expecting babies very soon, just saying!
Hands down I think the most popular hairstyle of the year was the top knot! Everyone, and I do mean everyone was wearing it--everywhere! Including the red carpet, television appearances, out shopping, in photoshoots, fashion week...I mean the list goes on! But a close follow up was definitely ombre hair, which carried over from last year's big trend. One person who has somewhat dominated the top knot do was Gwen Stefani, who wore it for her everyday style and also on the covers of multiple magazines. Followed by Kelly Osbourne and Nicole Richie who both sported the hairstyle quite often. And now here is a look back at all of the stars who rocked the top knot in 2012!
I know looks aren't everything, but Casper Smart and Jennifer Lopez sure do make one gorgeous couple! Look how amazing they look just walking down the street!....
Most people rave about celebrities and their style, labeling them as "best dressed", but it's really the fashion editors who have it going on! Take Christine Centenera. She was once the fashion editor of Harper's Bazaar Australia, and is now currently an editor at Vogue Australia! Not only that but she is also a stylist on the side and has been working with Kanye West to create a fashion line. She may even be behind Kim Kardashian's new look; with Kanye taking many fashion ques from her and recycling them on Kim! What I love most about her personal style is that it is so laid back and wearable. True, most of her clothes are straight off the runway but she wears them so effortlessly. With Christine it's all about the clothes; she's always leaving her hair and make-up simple to put more emphasis on the fashion. And the more I see her in different looks, the more I fall in love with her style!
