Fashion Flashback: Beychella

Sadly Coachella was canceled this year, but thankfully we all have the memory of Beyoncé's epic 2018 performance as the first black female headliner. The entire "Homecoming" performance will go down in both pop and black culture history. With multiple moments that honored HBCUs, historical black leaders (Malcolm X & Nina Simone), jazz and hip-hop music, the National Black Anthem and fashion statements created exclusively by Balmain's African/French creative director, Olivier Rousteing. Not only did Olivier create custom looks for  Beyoncé, but for Destinty's Child, Solange, and 100+ dancers and musicians also! But there's one iconic look she performed in, and that's the yellow cropped hoodie and tiny denim shorts, which every girl tried to recreate immediately. Here's a look back at her now iconic looks and unforgettable Coachella performance.
