Congratulations to Elaine Welteroth who got married last week during "lockdown" in New York and shared it all on social media! It may not have been her dream wedding, but it was still a very memorable and beautiful wedding nonetheless. And as the former editor of Teen Vogue, she gave all the exclusive details to Vogue magazine (obviously). But just to recap a few key parts, Elaine and her husband, Jonathan, met years ago when they were children--their moms introduced them in church! So, the 5/10/20 wedding date was very sentimental to them for numerous reasons, with this past Sunday also being Mother's Day as one of them. With that said, they decided not to cancel and went with a "stoop" wedding instead, and showed that their love could not be cancelled due to the lockdown! Cute right?! For the big day both the bride and groom wore white--with Elaine wearing her mother's "something borrowed" veil.
